NOLA ChristmasFest is back at the Morial Convention Center and better than ever. The two-week celebration offers indoor family fun through Dec. 30. Daily hours are 10 a.m.-8 p.m., 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Christmas Eve and 2 p.m.-8 p.m. on Christmas Day.
The festival features more than 70 Christmas trees decorated by local organizations, and holiday lighting displays inside and on Convention Center Boulevard. There are tons of activities, like crafts for kids and special events, along with a host of others:
- Indoor ice skating
- Private ice skating lessons
- Carnival rides
- Kringle carousel
- Giant inflatables
- Life-size maze
Visitors also get to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, Rudolph and all their pals from the North Pole.
ChristmasFest tickets are $20, which includes skating, skate rentals and admission to all rides. Children under 2 get in for free, and photos with Santa are sold separately.
