The Crescent City Eclipse award recognizes one individual who not only exceeds expectations in the workplace but also dedicates their free time to community service. The nominees should be in a non-executive position and has gone above and beyond in their role within the workplace. This individual has participated in community services projects for more than one year of their career. In addition to job performance and personal achievement, successful candidates should show passion for their community work and a pride in the industry and the city.

The nomination must include:

1. Description of how the candidate fulfills the criteria described above (200-400 words/less than one page)
2. Approval from the general manager or human resources director from the nominee’s company will be sought, if applicable.

Awards will be made at the discretion of the Crescent City Eclipse Recognition Committee, which may choose to grant one award, no award, or multiple awards.

Spirit of New Orleans Award Guidelines and Eligibility:

• This category is not eligible for self-nominations.
• Nominees may be in entry or managerial position.
• Candidates will be judged on the following factors:
  • Description of the nominee’s role and responsibilities that demonstrate exemplary service.
  • Evidence that the candidate has dedicated at least one (1) year of their time to community service efforts.
  • Uniqueness and impact of the candidate’s contributions.
