The Crescent City Eclipse Awards honors the people who make New Orleans’ hospitality industry – the bellmen, servers, tour guides, housekeepers, kitchen staff, drivers and other workers who make our city shine. These individuals have shown a deep sense of pride for the work they do in their companies and the industry.
The inaugural awards will be presented next year at a red carpet event hosted by the New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau. Please consider nominating an employee and recognize them for their exceptional service, exemplary performance and commitment to advancing the hospitality and tourism industry.
Residents of the Greater New Orleans area are eligible to submit a nomination for the Crescent City Eclipse Awards with the candidate’s permission. Nominations must clearly state why the candidate should be considered for the applied award. Each nomination form submitted must be completed to the fullest, must adhere to the description word count, and must include a professional photo of the candidate. There are no costs to enter each nomination.
Nominations for the 2018 Crescent City Eclipse Awards are now open. The deadline to submit all nominations is Friday, October 6, 2017.
Award finalists and their companies will be notified before the award ceremony and public announcement. All award recipients will be announced at the Crescent City Eclipse Gala. New Orleans Will plans to do one or more interviews with the award winners and post the stories on the New Orleans Will website and promote them through its social media channels. Award recipients may be asked to do an interview video regarding their career path and personal achievements.
All award finalists will be recognized at the red carpet Crescent City Eclipse Gala and will receive two complimentary tickets for themselves and one guest to enjoy the reception.
