Recently, The New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau partnered with Junior Achievement and Hyatt Regency New Orleans to provide a job shadow for students of Edna Karr High School.

The students saw first-hand how a large convention hotel operates, and how many different job opportunities are available within the hospitality and tourism industry.

Edna Karr juniors arrived at Hyatt Regency New Orleans early in the morning and spent the day learning tips for success from  Human Resources & Finance Systems Administrator Anne Kreybig, Director of Administrative & General Linda Reyes, Director of Food & Beverage James Kratofil, and Director of Events Melanie Walent. Check out the gallery of photos below.
