Arnaud’s Restaurant To Launch Eighth Annual Teddy Bear Program Benefiting the New Orleans Police Department
Public Encouraged to Donate New Teddy Bears this Holiday Season
WHO: Arnaud’s Restaurant and New Orleans Police & Justice Foundation (NOPJF)
WHAT: 8th Annual Teddy Bear Program, benefiting the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD), local community and those communities hardest hit by Hurricane Ida.
This holiday season, Arnaud’s Restaurant, in partnership with NOPJF, will host its eighth annual Teddy Bear Program. Since its inception in 2014, the program has raised nearly 7,000 teddy bears for police to hand out to children they encounter while on duty, experiencing trauma or distress.
WHEN: Collections will begin on Thanksgiving Day (November 25) through December 31
WHERE: Collection bins will be placed at Arnaud’s Restaurant, among other locations, and accessible during normal hours of operation, unless otherwise noted.
