
American Queen Voyages
POSITION SUMMARY:
The City Stay Concierge is responsible for the onsite execution of daily operations for American Queen Voyages Extended City Stay program. Extended City Stay packages are customized programs in some of our most popular ports, so we can guide guests through amazing cities before or after their voyages allowing for a full cultural immersion, unlike any other! Following training, the City Stay Concierge will work directly with the Cruise Extension in-office team to carry out assigned duties independently as an on-site ambassador for their port.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complete daily operations and administrative duties related to City Stay for American Queen Voyages including but not limited to:
· Set up / breakdown signage at the concierge desk or table
· Working with hotel staff to coordinate guest room check-in and bellmen readiness for guest arrival
· Greeting guests upon arrival (individually at concierge table or addressing group on arriving motorcoach)
· Ensuring guests have City Stay documents and vouchers
· Answering questions about local attractions and restaurants or attractions included in their City Stay package
· Booking transportation with our local provider via their website
· Distributing transportation confirmations to guests
· Other duties as assigned
THIS POSITION IS FOR YOU IF:
You are knowledgeable about your city, local attractions, and restaurants
You love people and are passionate about offering an amazing guest experience
You are comfortable with speaking in front of up to 50 guests, clearly communicating and setting guest expectations
You can lift up to 10 lbs (Set up signage)
You are able to use a computer, tablet, or phone to make guest reservations
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $35.00 p/hr
· Hours: 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm, 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm
· Weekday & Weekend availability
