2013 has come and gone and the new year is upon us. Here in New Orleans we have accomplished so much in the past years, and we are now recognized as one of the top cities in America for travel, art, entrepreneurs, tech, families, business, food, music, film, and the list goes on. We are making an even better name for ourselves and our strongest industry of tourism is thriving.
At the beginning of the new year, many people take time to reflect and think about what the months to come may hold. As a city, we can resolve to continue to work hard for ourselves and each other; we can find new ways to support each other, as well as find new ways to make New Orleans a better place to live. Each of us has a hand in our success as a whole.
As tourism continues to fuel our economy, the livelihood of every New Orleanian is made better. In 2014, we will see even more success. Here’s to another year of New Orleans working hard and playing hard, like only we know how to do. Happy New Year!
What are your New Year’s resolutions? What ways do you hope to see New Orleans grow in 2014?
